What is Pig Latin?
Pig Latin is a playful English word game that rearranges the letters of each word by a simple rule. For words that begin with a consonant, the leading consonant cluster is moved to the end and ay is added, so hello becomes ellohay and school becomes oolschay. For words that begin with a vowel, way is simply appended, so egg becomes eggway. The letter y is treated as a vowel only when it is not the first letter, which is why my becomes ymay while yellow becomes ellowyay.
